Founders Day 2014

Posted 17th March 2014

Every year Founders Day commemorates the history and spirit of TAS. It is surely unusual that, in our 120th year, the current student crop includes descendants of the very first Headmaster, Rev William Fisher, and the first boy enrolled – Herbert Mackenzie.
These boys and others with family ties to the students of 1894 shared their ancestors reflections on the school and talked about a famous student food petition of November 1894!
Here’s a slideshow of photos from the early days, concluding with the signatories of the 1894 food petition.
